Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008)

A scientist and his nephew go on a journey to find the scientist's missing brother. Their journey takes them through wild weather and inhospitable terrain. They scale mountains and climb through a cave. When the cave entrance collapses during a severe storm, they end up falling in a hole that takes them to a lost world that is in the core of the Earth. This world doesn't operate in the same way that they are used to, and they encounter animals that they thought were extinct. All they have to go on is a diary from the missing man.

Journey to the Center of the Earth is an action movie featuring Brendan Fraser and directed by Eric Brevig.
