Anna Karenina (2012)

Anna Karenina is a Russian aristocrat in 1874, and while her life is surrounded by relative wealth and opulence, it's complex and far from perfect. Her relationship with her husband is frigid, but she dearly loves the son she has with him. When she begins a tumultuous relationship with the charming Count Vronsky, she's playing a dangerous game. Vronsky is engaged, she is married, and high society is dominated by conservative values and a propensity for gossip. She'll eventually be forced to make a tragic ultimatum: abandon her son for the man she loves or agree to never see him again.
