Submerged in the whirlpool of high school life is Tara, a girl whose shyness is so intense that she finds herself incapable of scrawling even one letter on the classroom board. But beneath her timid shell, Tara harbors an electrifying secret - she is the enigmatic "Radio Rebel". In the privacy of her room, Tara dons a headset, transforming into an audacious, articulate, and inspiring voice that echoes through the airwaves during her daily podcast. Her world takes an exhilarating turn when her stepfather, a key figure at SLAM radio, unravels her secret identity. This revelation leads Tara out of her bedroom and into the pulsating heart of a live radio studio. However, this perfect storm of chaos is interrupted when Principal Moreno, a man whose life's mission seems to be the demolition of joy, cancels the much-anticipated Prom. As the student body turns their blame towards Rebel, Tara must navigate the treacherous waters of high school politics, all while keeping her secret alter-ego under wraps.
