Bob Terry, a man smitten with Lois Borden, the daughter of his boss John Borden, finds himself ensnared in a web of treachery when valuable bonds vanish from the office. Wrongly accused and victim to Borden's staunch sense of duty to his investors, Bob is unjustly cast into the harsh world of prison. With the help of his ex-cellmate Todd and the notorious gangster John Carmody, Bob crafts an elaborate scheme of retribution against the Borden patriarch.
