The Sum of All Fears (2002)

Jack Ryan is a data analyst, not an action star — but he might be the only man who can prevent a new global war. Ryan is a CIA analyst who's been tasked with researching Russia's new president — a suspiciously enigmatic figure with little information publicly available. But the detonation of a nuclear bomb in the middle of Boston transforms an unknown situation into a nuclear standoff. Russia appears to be responsible, but Ryan believes the data may tell a different story. Ryan can prevent nuclear war but only if he can untangle the ambitions and agendas of the people behind this attack.
