In the shadowy labyrinth of Los Angeles, Winston Connelly awakens, disoriented and dressed in a tattered tuxedo, in an obscure alleyway. His memory is a jigsaw puzzle, scattered and incomplete. As fragments of the previous night begin to slowly seep back, he realizes he's far from the glittering prom night he'd been eagerly anticipating. Winston, the quintessential geek, had planned a magical evening with his date, Tara, but instead finds himself lost in the gritty underbelly of the city.
