Trance (2013)

Art auctioneer Simon follows the correct protocol to package up a painting when his auction house is robbed. But in the struggle that follows, Simon is given amnesia and the robbers leave with an empty package. Gang leader Franck takes Simon hostage and then enlists the help of a hypnotherapist to find the painting when he discovers that Simon is genuinely suffering from amnesia. But as the hypnotherapist begins to dig deeper into Simon's psyche, they discover that his relationship with Franck goes deeper than he initially thought. Figuring out exactly what happened is key to Simon getting away safely.
