Fresh from the halls of Montclair State, Annie, a New Jersey native, finds herself at a crossroads, uncertain of the path her life should take. Fate intervenes when she rescues a young boy, Grayer, from an impending accident in a park. This act of bravery swiftly lands her in the lavish and demanding world of New York's Upper East Side elite, as a nanny for the affluent and detached X family.
