Plot

In a desperate bid to evade the clutches of relentless bookies, Noah Dugan reluctantly agrees to pilot missionary Bernadette Lafleur and her menagerie of animals to an isolated island. Unbeknownst to them, two of Miss Lafleur's inquisitive pupils have secretly hitched a ride with the cargo. The journey takes a tumultuous turn as Miss Lafleur's transistor radio disrupts the plane's navigational systems, sending them astray into the vast unknown. Following an impromptu landing on an uncharted island, Dugan, Bernadette, and the young stowaways, Bobby and Julie, make a startling discovery: they aren't the island's only inhabitants. Two Japanese soldiers, marooned since World War II, share the lush yet lonely landscape. Faced with the daunting task of escaping the island, they must ingeniously transform their aircraft into a navigable vessel. As Bobby and Julie adamantly refuse to abandon the animals, the makeshift boat takes on a mythical quality, mirroring the legendary Noah's Ark. This tale of survival, camaraderie, and innovative spirit is a testament to the strength of the human will and the bond between man and beast.
