Richard and his cousin Emmeline are stranded on a deserted island in the South Pacific during the Victorian era. The island is an innocent paradise at first. Innocence gives way to sexual exploration as the two enter puberty. Richard and Emmeline's sensual world is interrupted when they discover that the island may not be as deserted as they had originally thought.
