But a year into his journey, Yuuji feels a pull towards a higher calling, a promotion within the enigmatic CIRS. As he shares his ambitions with JB, they delve into the labyrinth of his past, meticulously sifting through the chapters of his life, to ascertain the suitability of this new path. Simultaneously, the unsuspecting girls of Mihama stumble upon fragments of Yuuji's past, concealed within tattered documents in his quarters. As they piece together these remnants of history, they begin to realize the narrative that has sculpted, and possibly shattered, the man they know as Yuuji. But the past is not content to remain a silent specter. It reaches out from the shadows, its cold grip threatening to pull Yuuji back into the abyss from whence he emerged. As the echoes of his history resound in the present, the chains of his bygone days strain to drag him back into the enveloping darkness.
