Plot

In the wake of the demise of the esteemed businessman Philip Broadhurst, a peculiar condition emerges. His cherished daughter Lucy, the heiress to his vast fortune, has to marry Mathurin, the son of Marquis Pierre de l'Esperance within half a year. With her aunt by her side, the pure-hearted Lucy ventures to the dilapidated estate of her future husband, nestled deep in the foreboding French woods. Once a noble dwelling, the estate now lies in the shadow of a chilling legend. Centuries ago, a savage supernatural creature, propelled by an insatiable lust for virginal girls, prowled these very forests. This predatory beast, as the whispers go, was marked by ferocity and raw desire, stalking the woods with an unquenchable thirst. Unaware of the macabre folklore shrouding her future family's name, Lucy arrives in the rustic countryside. Before long, she finds herself enmeshed in a terrifying world of intense, sensually charged visions of alarming clarity. Amid the crumbling structures and eerie shadows, the line between reality and superstition begins to blur, and Lucy starts to question the very fabric of her understanding. Is there an inkling of truth in the ominous legend of the Beast of Gévaudan? Or is it just a tale spun by overactive imaginations? As a lurking 'beast' casts a dark cloud over the French countryside, Lucy's fate hangs in the balance, setting the stage for a gripping tale of inheritance, passion, and the supernatural.
