Plot

In the bustling world of Hollywood, Ben Castle is an all-show-no-go singing cowboy, a grand illusion who can neither ride nor sing, and harbors a secret fear of guns and horses. When trouble comes knocking, he's the first one to make a swift exit. His studio, desperate to keep their star out of trouble, enlists the formidable lawyer, Abigail Furnival, to rescue him from the clutches of an intimidating gambler to whom he owes a hefty debt. However, life takes an unexpected turn and Abigail finds herself inexplicably married to Ben. When the gambler learns of Abigail's lineage, recognizing her as the offspring of an old acquaintance, he graciously cancels Ben's debt. But tranquility is short-lived as the gambler turns up dead under mysterious circumstances, and all fingers start pointing towards Ben. Intrigue and suspense swirl around in this classic tale of Hollywood charm, unexpected alliances, and murder, where nothing is as it seems, and everyone has a secret to hide. The Groom Wore Spurs is a delightful journey into the heart of vintage cinema, blending humor, romance, and mystery in a compelling narrative.
