In the glamorous world of 1960's Hollywood, the iconic Sir Alfred Hitchcock (Toby Jones) finds himself at a crossroads after the retirement of his muse, Grace Kelly. His search for a fresh face leads him to a relatively unknown television model, Tippi Hedren (Sienna Miller), casting her as the lead in his chilling adaptation of the horror story "The Birds".
