In the heart of a grand 22-room apartment, the life of Lowe Hammle is abruptly extinguished by an unseen assailant. A kaleidoscope of suspect characters emerges, each nursing their own labyrinth of secrets and motives. There’s Dr. Garden, a man enveloped in grief for his son Floyd, whose untimely demise at the racetrack casts an eerie shadow of suicide. Among the throng is Mrs. Fenwicke-Ralston, a woman caught on the brink of a significant equine transaction.
