Plot

In the tense atmosphere of the Czech-West German border, two seasoned warriors find themselves poised on the edge of a conflict that is no longer theirs to fight. US Colonel Jack Knowles and his Soviet counterpart, Colonel Valachev, are relics of a bygone era, their skills honed in the crucible of war now seemingly redundant amidst Gorbachev's era of Glasnost. Yet, the thirst for battle simmers beneath their hardened exteriors. A sudden border incident - the fatal shooting of a defector - shatters the fragile peace, igniting a personal war that threatens to escalate into a full-scale military confrontation. As the world moves towards diplomacy and understanding, these two titans, relics of a vanishing age, find themselves drawn back into the familiar dance of war. 'The Fourth War' is a tale of two men, bound by honor and driven by a thirst for action, caught in the changing tide of history. As Gorbachev's policies seek to build bridges, Knowles and Valachev are ready to burn them for one last taste of the battlefield. Their private war, born from the ashes of tranquility, could potentially trigger a devastating troop standoff, casting a dark shadow over the dawn of a new era.
