The Evil That Men Do (1984)

In the shadowy underbelly of international politics, Clement Moloch (Joseph Maher) is a chilling figure. Masquerading as a doctor, he devotes his genius not to the art of healing, but to the science of pain, using his skills to extract information through torture for various governments, including the U.S. As his victims pile up, a burning desire for retribution grows among them. After multiple failed attempts on his life, the task falls to Holland (Charles Bronson), a retired assassin, who is drawn back into the deadly game following the demise of a close friend at the hands of Moloch. Initially, Holland resists, clinging to his retirement. But as the specter of his friend's fate looms, he finally surrenders to the call of duty. To infiltrate Moloch's fortress-like protection, he needs a cover — a family. He turns to his friend's widow (Theresa Saldana), who, fueled by a thirst for vengeance, agrees to pose as his wife, bringing her innocent child into the dangerous charade. Upon arrival, Holland quickly recognizes the gravity of his mission. Moloch is a fortress, shielded by layers of lethal protection. Undeterred, Holland begins his deadly dance of deception, meticulously eliminating Moloch's defenses as he moves closer to his target. As the stakes rise, the line between hunter and hunted blurs, setting the stage for a climactic confrontation.
