Plot

In the quaint Irish coastal town of Cobh, Michael Farr, a widower and father of two, is grappling with the profound grief of losing his beloved wife to cancer. As he attempts to navigate the murky waters of loss, he immerses himself in the vibrant tapestry of the town's annual literary festival, providing transportation for esteemed authors. Among these are the self-absorbed American novelist, Nicholas Holden, and Lena Morelle, a British writer known for her ghostly narratives. Once, a fleeting romance sparked between the two writers, but now, Nicholas's attempts to rekindle their past fall on deaf ears. Lena, instead, finds herself increasingly drawn towards the melancholic Michael. Meanwhile, Michael's nights are haunted by the spine-chilling spectre of his father-in-law. Is this a genuine supernatural occurrence, or a haunting manifestation of a heart marred by loss? In this intricate tale of love, loss, and the supernatural, The Eclipse explores the depths of human emotion and the ethereal boundaries of the unseen world.
