ER (1994)

ER is one of the most popular medical dramas to ever air, one that set the stage for a variety of similar series. It takes place in the trauma ward of County General Hospital in Chicago and follows the adventures of the doctors, nurses, administrators, and staff that runs County General and try to save as many lives as possible. Over the course of the show's 15 seasons, dozens of doctors and nurses entered the show. The staff of County General is shown as they work in the hospital, but the program also highlighted their personal lives as well, watching the birth of new loves, the death of family members, and a slew of personal and professional struggles.
