The Curse of Hobbes House (2020)

In an unexpected twist of fate, Jane Dormant, a woman teetering on the brink of financial collapse, learns about the death of her Aunt Alex. Driven by hopes of a possible life-saving inheritance, Jane embarks on a journey to her grandmother's secluded mansion, Hobbes House, to be present for the reading of the will. The gloomy estate welcomes not only Jane but also her estranged, prosperous half-sister Jennifer Dormant, who is accompanied by her lover, Nigel Thatcher, a suave investment banker from London. The solemn gathering is completed by Eurydice Saul, the somber solicitor, and Naser Mohammedin, a Syrian refugee who served as the devoted groundskeeper for Jane and Jennifer's late grandmother. But the calm before the storm shatters when Saul meets an untimely, gruesome end. The situation takes a terrifying turn when a raging storm isolates the estate from the rest of the world, and Jane is confronted by Saul's reanimated corpse. The confines of Hobbes House quickly transform into a chilling battlefield as the group finds themselves in a dire fight for survival. The once grand mansion becomes the stage of an escalating nightmare, with the survivors fighting off a relentless onslaught of bloodthirsty zombies. The inheritance that was supposed to be their salvation becomes an afterthought as they battle to keep the undead at bay, their lives hanging by a thread in the eerie silence of Hobbes House.
