Plot

Harry Graham, a man ensnared in a clandestine double life, unexpectedly finds himself exposed when he and his wife, Eve, begin their pursuit of adopting a child. Living in San Francisco, the Grahams seem to personify the ideal couple. Yet, unbeknownst to Eve, Harry harbors a profound secret: a second wife, Phyllis, and a baby tucked away in the bustling city of Los Angeles. When Mr. Jordan, the astute head of the adoption agency, senses an undercurrent of deception in Harry's behavior, he embarks on an investigative journey. His probing soon uncovers Harry's suspiciously frequent commutes between San Francisco and Los Angeles, sparking an unraveling of Harry's carefully woven web of duplicity. As the veil of secrecy lifts, Harry is cornered into revealing his hidden life to Mr. Jordan, the very embodiment of his impending doom. Through a series of poignant flashbacks, Harry narrates the genesis of his double life: his growing estrangement from Eve, her preoccupation with their family business, and the blossoming infatuation with Phyllis that led them to the point of no return. In the face of his revealed secret, Harry must now reckon with the aftermath of his choices. Embroiled in the crossfire of love, betrayal, and responsibility, he finds himself standing on the precipice of a life-altering decision. As the narrative unfolds, viewers are irresistibly drawn into the labyrinth of Harry's duplicity, anxiously anticipating the impending consequences of his bigamous life.
