Plot

Henry Altmann, an eternally disgruntled resident of Brooklyn, has been ensnared by bitterness since the tragic loss of his eldest son. His daily life is a turbulent storm of anger, unforgivingly lashing out at the world and everyone who dares to inhabit it. One fateful day, his simmering fury and impatience bring him face-to-face with the young, beleaguered intern Dr. Sharon Gill, who is navigating her own storm of a bad day. Tasked with delivering the results of Henry's tomography, Sharon discloses his grim prognosis: a lurking brain aneurysm, a ticking time bomb. Henry's rage escalates, his demand for his remaining time met with Sharon's snap judgement - a mere 90 minutes. This revelation sends shockwaves through Henry, his fury replaced with a sudden urgency to mend the broken relationships he's left in his wake. His wife Bette, his brother Aaron, and his estranged son Tommy become his targets for reconciliation. Simultaneously, Dr. Gill, stunned by her own lapse of judgement, embarks on a frantic search across the bustling streets of New York. The gravity of Henry's condition hits her, amplifying her desperate need to find him before time runs out. This intense race against the clock intertwines their fates, forcing them to confront their own demons. As Henry grapples with his diagnosis and the bridges he must mend, and Sharon wrestles with her mistake and the life she must save, 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' unfolds. The question hangs heavy in the air, will 90 minutes be enough for Henry to rectify his past, or will time, as it always does, beat him to it?
