Sweet Surrender (2014)

After a heartrending split with his love, Chelsea, Tom Campbell enlists in the US army, leaving behind the coastal charm of his Californian hometown where Chelsea now serves as mayor. Life leads him back home to manage his grandmother's quaint bed and breakfast, "Cupid's", while she recovers in hospital, with plans to transition into a professional bodyguard with his army comrade, Steve. However, when his grandmother passes away, Tom is left to grapple with a mounting legacy of deferred repairs and colossal tax debts. Unbeknownst to Tom, the town's influential tycoon's son, Jerry - who also happens to be Chelsea's fiancé - has his sights set on "Cupid's". With insider knowledge of a future road development, Jerry sees the B&B’s potential as an ideal spot for a bustling mall.
