In the heart of the bustling city, we're introduced to Angela, a fiercely dedicated and image-conscious ad executive, who finds herself on the cusp of launching a major ad campaign for a unique perfume targeting pregnant women. However, life throws her an unexpected curveball when she discovers she herself is pregnant. This revelation sends shockwaves through her life, turning her high-paced career and her relationship with her husband, Curtis, a high-powered divorce attorney, upside down. On the home front, misunderstandings spiral out of control. Angela misinterprets Curtis' actions, convinced that he's having an affair, while Curtis, in turn, wrongly suspects that he's not the father of Angela's baby. As they navigate this tumultuous period, they are fed questionable advice by their confidants - Angela's mother and Curtis' recently-separated law partner, who both advocate for a silent treatment strategy. This advice only serves to fan the flames of mistrust and unhappiness, creating an unsettling atmosphere in their once harmonious household. Meanwhile, at work, Angela chooses to keep her pregnancy under wraps from her notoriously demanding boss, Mary. Curtis, on the other hand, finds himself embroiled in morally dubious legal cases, adding yet another layer of complexity to their lives. Amidst all this chaos, their best friends, Danny and Sylvia, add fuel to the fire, escalating the situation into an explosive battle of the sexes.
