In the bustling heart of a large metropolitan hospital, a chief physician obsessively toils to concoct a revolutionary serum - a miracle cure designed to resurrect the recently deceased. However, when the cold gaze of federal inspection threatens to expose his macabre experiments, desperation takes hold. With the sinister aid of the hospital's operations manager, they hurriedly dispose of the partially revived "patients" in an adjacent swamp, their dark secret seemingly safe. But beneath the murky waters of the swamp, a chilling reality stirs. Unbeknownst to them, the serum has worked, and the discarded experiments emerge from their watery graves. Their unnatural resurrection brings horror to the quiet swampland, where a group of unsuspecting students are conducting their own innocent scientific inquiries. Suddenly, they find themselves at the heart of a terrifying nightmare, their lives thrown into chaos. As the terror unfolds, an unlikely alliance of survivors forms. A hermit with intimate knowledge of the swamp, a beautiful bystander caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, a steadfast park ranger, and the police captain must unravel the horrifying truth. Together, they must navigate the treacherous path of survival, piecing together the grotesque puzzle to stop the swamp zombies before it's too late. As they unravel the mystery, they must also confront the monstrous consequences of playing god.
