Braindead (1992)

Lionel has long suffered as the caretaker for his tyrannical mother, but things could be changing now that he's found love in the form of grocery store clerk Paquita. But while their romance is still in its most early stages, Lionel's mother Vera is bitten by a creature and transformed into a grotesque zombie. Even in death, Lionel's mom won't stop trying to ruin his life. Lionel tries desperately to hide the growing infestation in his basement while continuing to live a normal life. But things will soon come tumbling down on Lionel with disastrous results for everyone around him.
