Rico shares his pitiful existence and a potent speedball habit with his girlfriend Jesse, in a rundown tenement that bears witness to their desperate struggle for survival. Rico and his motley crew are perpetually on the hunt for their next fix, their need for money and dope driving them into a relentless cycle of scams and schemes. Each day is a quest for the next big score, each scam an attempt to fill the insatiable void of addiction. The narrative of Street Level unravels in this dark underworld, showcasing how addiction, much like love, can compel one to cross unimaginable boundaries.
