In the distant future of 2300, mankind has stretched its reach across the vast expanse of the Milky Way and even into the unknown territories of the Andromeda Galaxy. On Solo, a planet in Andromeda, a team of intrepid archaeologists and soldiers stumble upon the remnants of an enigmatic civilization: the Ideon. This ancient marvel consists of three colossal tanks that metamorphose into a mystical robot and an advanced starship, relics of a lost era. Just as the team begins their exploration, they are accosted by an extraterrestrial landing party, the Buff Clan, who misinterpret their intentions and retaliate. With their backs against the wall and their lives at stake, the team commandeers the Ideon to fight back. Following the devastating attack that eradicates Solo's cities, the survivors board the Solo starship, carrying with them the Ideon as their protector. From this misunderstanding, an interstellar conflict of epic proportions is ignited, with the relentless Buff Clan hot on their trails, coveting the Ideon and its enigmatic power source, the Ide. As the Solo's crew traverses the stars, they are joined by an unexpected ally, Karala, a member of the Buff Clan who was inadvertently taken aboard. Amid the chaos of mistrust and annihilation, she holds the key to quelling the war. But the question lingers: will her voice be heard amidst the deafening roar of battle?
