Plot
In a cataclysmic future, the government agency NERV is the last thing protecting humanity from total destruction. Giant creatures known as Angels rampage across creation, but a program to train teenagers to combat them in giant robot suits has been having some effect at keeping people safe and preventing society from crumbling. But the current team isn't enough, and two new pilots are added to the team in the hope of pushing back the invading monsters more readily. It's a decision that will shake up the current dynamic and develop rivalries, but there's a new threat looming just over the horizon.
