Son of Saul (2015)

Saul Auslander isn't just an Auschwitz prisoner. He's one of the few damned souls who are assigned the task of cremating the bodies of their fellow prisoners. The Sonderkommando like Saul are mocking up plans to rebel against their Nazi captors, but Saul is too caught up in his own guilt to focus on anything but his one primary obsession — to have the body of a boy he believes to be his son buried by a proper Rabbi. Saul feels guilty for his negligence while the boy was alive, but is he just further damning himself by refusing to look forward?
