Three men are drawn together following a murder in 1944. The three of them would go on to become the most famous poets and writers of the Beat Generation. Long before fame, Allen Ginsberg is a disillusioned English major who cannot seem to master the art of meaningful prose. When he meets fellow writers William Burroughs and Jack Kerouac, Ginsberg is exposed to a darkness that unlocks his mind and his pen.
