Plot
At the onset of World War II, the British are eager to crack a Nazi code machine called the Enigma. It allows the Germans to communicate with unbreakable encrypted messages. The newly created MI6 hires Alan Turing, a mathematical genius to unravel the secrets of the Enigma machine. Turing is notoriously difficult to work with and has a superior attitude toward others but is willing to work with those he hand-selects. Turing eventually conquers the Enigma machine and becomes an unsung hero until his homosexuality is discovered resulting in brutal persecution. Based on the true story of mathematician Alan Turing.
