In the politically tumultuous 1950s, American journalist Louis Hoyt mysteriously vanishes within the intricate labyrinths of China, stirring whispers of his detainment by the Communist regime on espionage allegations. After Jane's funds are squandered by the duplicitous Rocha who also confines her against her will, Hank Lee, moved by her plight, resolves to embark on the treacherous quest himself.
Illegally penetrating the iron curtain of Red China, Hank Lee plunges headlong into a world brimming with danger at every corner, as he navigates the intricate web of political intrigue and deceit in his quest to find Louis Hoyt.
