Plot

In the quiet mosaic of a small town, two childhood friends, Kailash Nath, a respected Bank Manager, and Shankar Dayal Khurana, the trusted bank watch-man, share a bond of friendship that transcends their professional life. Their lives intertwine more deeply when Kailash's son, Kishan, is betrothed to Dayal's daughter, Sanam, in a union of love and promise. However, a cruel twist of fate shatters their world when Kailash, believed to be dead following a tragic vehicle accident, is found alive but entangled in a web of crime, accused of embezzling vast sums from the bank he once managed. Surviving the harsh reality of a long jail sentence, Kailash discovers the shocking truth - the treacherous Dayal had framed him to mask his own crimes. Emerging from his life behind bars, Kailash finds himself in a world where Dayal is flourishing as the town's Mayor, basking in wealth and power. The familiar faces of his past, his beloved wife Savitri and son Kishan, have vanished into the ether, leaving Kailash in a lonely purgatory. Simultaneously, Kishan, now a grown man, ventures to reclaim his bride from the opulent bungalow of the deceitful Khurana. However, Sanam, once a sweet and obedient girl, has transformed into a stubborn, spoiled young woman with a sharp tongue and a disdain for Kishan. Despite her resistance, Kishan tenaciously escorts her back to his mother, Savitri, unaware of the surprise that Sanam harbors for them. "Sangdil Sanam" is a riveting tale of love, betrayal, and redemption, painting a vivid portrait of a family torn apart by deceit and reunited by unwavering determination. As the story unfolds, viewers are drawn into an emotional labyrinth where the past's shadows loom over the present, and long-held secrets threaten to dismantle the fragile threads of hope.
