Plot

In the early light of dawn, Beverly Ross (Ann Miller) takes to the airwaves as the charismatic switchboard operator-turned-emcee at a bustling local radio station. As the clock strikes 5:30 am, her dynamic voice echoes through the tranquil morning, reaching the ears of servicemen at a nearby army camp, moments before their day commences with the reveille. With an uncanny knack for knowing what tunes will stir the souls of these soldiers, Beverly spins records of their favorite swing bands and crooners, weaving a tapestry of chatter and camp bulletins in between those soulful melodies. Among her myriad of listeners are two soldiers who share a strong bond of friendship - one born with a silver spoon, the other a former chauffeur. Their camaraderie is put to the test when they both fall head over heels for the enchanting radio hostess. The intriguing twist? They also happen to be buddies of Beverly's younger brother, who serves at the same camp. As the love triangle intensifies, Beverly finds herself in a delicate position. Caught between the affections of these two charming soldiers, her heart remains indecisive. Just as she's on the verge of making a choice, fate plays its hand. The marching orders arrive, sweeping the soldiers off to their destination, leaving Beverly with her unspoken feelings and a microphone that reaches out to the men she adores. "Reveille with Beverly" is a heartwarming tale of love, music, and the bonds that tie us together, set against the backdrop of the turbulent times of war. It's a melodious journey that explores the power of connection, the dilemma of choice, and the enduring hope of love.
