In the sweltering heat of an Australian Christmas, Diane, portrayed by Dee Wallace, orchestrates a tumultuous holiday reunion with her fragmented family. A bone-chilling knock at their stately home's door ushers in the specter of a choice made two decades ago, casting a foreboding shadow over the merry festivities. The uninvited guest, revealed as Cletus, the living, breathing manifestation of Diane's aborted fetus, arrives with a vengeful agenda. The joyous celebration rapidly spirals into a crimson nightmare as Cletus embarks on a harrowing campaign of terror against his estranged mother and her loved ones. With survival hanging by a thread, Diane must confront her haunting past and unravel the grotesque truth to her vulnerable son Jerry, who lives with Down Syndrome. Amid the mounting horror, Diane must find a way to protect her family from the terror she unwittingly invited into their lives before it's too late.
