In the gritty shadows of the state prison, we find Joe Sullivan, a convict bearing the weight of another man's sins. Betrayed by Rick Coyle, a ruthless gangster who owes him a hefty $50,000, Joe's only solace lies in the promise of freedom. His ray of hope is Ann Martin, a young, steadfast woman from the law firm fighting for his freedom. She firmly believes that after three long, grueling years, Joe will finally step into the light of probation.
However, the plot thickens when Pat, Joe's fiercely loyal lover, reveals Rick's nefarious plan for a prison break. With the sadistic Rick hoping to erase Joe from his life, the stage is set for a dangerous escape that could end in imprisonment or death.
