Plot

In the heart of a bustling city, where her mother is often absent due to an incessant work schedule, resides a young 12-year-old girl named Adar. The echo of her innocent laughter is gradually replaced by the unsettling sound of silence as her playful role-playing games with her stepfather veer into a realm of uncomfortable danger. Amidst this turbulent home atmosphere, the line between childlike naivety and adolescent awakening starts blurring, leaving Adar navigating a tempestuous path. In the gloaming, a flicker of hope appears in the form of Alan, a boy who mirrors Adar not just physically, but in his quiet resilience. His dreamy aura offers Adar an escape from her fractured reality, drawing her into a world where fantasy and reality dance on a razor's edge. Alan's introduction into the family dynamic adds another layer of complexity, yet provides Adar with an unexpected ally on her dark journey. Through the labyrinth of childhood and adolescence, reality and illusion, Adar and Alan traverse together, forever altering the household's unwritten rules. 'Princess' is a poignant exploration of a young girl's struggle to retain her innocence while grappling with disturbing truths, a tale that will leave you pondering the blurred lines of morality in the face of survival.
