In the eccentric Eastbourne household, a dignified fluffy cat named Angus is the only one who maintains his composure amidst the madness. The eldest daughter, Georgia, is smitten with Robbie, the heartthrob from the 'Stiff Dylans' band. Robbie, a recent London transplant, co-owns an organic grocery shop with his brother Tom, who is the object of affection for Georgia's best friend, Jas. While Peter Dyer labels Georgia as his most exceptional kissing-course student, she disregards his advances, as well as those from Dave the Laugh, another classmate. Initially contemplating leaving his arrogant girlfriend Lindsay, Robbie reconsiders after witnessing her malicious nature, leaving Georgia's heart in a constant tug-of-war. In a whirlwind of indecisiveness, Georgia fluctuates between planning an extravagant birthday party and fretting over her father's potential career move to New Zealand. Meanwhile, her mother seems to be entangled in a flirtatious dance with the handsome interior decorator, Jem. All of this creates a lively canvas of teenage angst, family dynamics, and the quest for love in this coming-of-age tale.
