Plot

In the sleepy seaside town of a Florida beach resort, the summer season is drawing to a close and the village's attractions are dwindling. However, the handsome lifeguard Raymond, with his sun-kissed physique and magnetic charm, remains a beacon for admiring eyes. Among his most devoted followers are teenage friends Claire and Hailey, who, despite their thorough study of Raymond from a distance, never muster the courage to approach him. As the end of summer looms, so does an impending separation - one of them is set to move to Australia, threatening to dissolve their close-knit friendship. Their world takes an extraordinary turn when a fierce storm washes up an unexpected guest in the beach club's swimming pool - a sassy, spirited mermaid named Aquamarine. Stranded far from her underwater realm and captivated by Raymond's allure, Aquamarine strikes a deal with the girls. She promises to grant them a wish if they assist her in setting up a date with Raymond and help prove to her father, Neptune, that true love exists in the human world. Intrigue, friendship, and the magic of first love intertwine in this heartwarming tale as Claire and Hailey navigate the whims of a mermaid, their secret crush, and the bittersweet taste of an approaching farewell. Their ordinary summer evolves into an unforgettable adventure, challenging their courage, testing their friendship, and revealing the true power of love.
