In the opulent world of Middle Eastern tradition and ceremony, Reema and Omar are orchestrating an extravagant wedding for their daughter, Tala. Yet, beneath the lavish spectacle, Tala's heart is elsewhere. Back in the bustling heart of London, she crosses paths with Leyla, a British Indian woman in a relationship with Tala's closest friend, Ali. Leyla, while seemingly clumsy and unassuming, harbors a hidden passion for writing that sparks a vibrant connection with Tala.
