Plot

In the wild expanse of North America's Northern Great Plains, 1719, emerges an enthralling tale set in the heart of the Comanche Nation. Our protagonist, Naru, is an adept tracker and healer, constantly living under the formidable shadow of her hunter brother, Taabe. Yet, her spirit remains undeterred; she is resolved to demonstrate her worth and earn her place among the tribe's revered warriors. "Prey" opens a portal to a time 300 years ago, painting the picture of a fierce and proficient warrior, Naru, raised amidst legendary hunters prowling the Great Plains. When a ruthless mountain lion attack unveils a threat more sinister than the region's untamed beasts, Naru's moment to shine arrives. The morning sky offers a sign, and she understands that her rite of passage, the big hunt, is at hand. However, the danger that looms over her camp is not of this world. The prey she must confront is a technologically superior alien predator, a creature far beyond human comprehension. With her tribe's safety hanging in balance, Naru is set on a perilous path, testing not only her combat skills but also her wit and courage. "Prey" sets a historic precedent by premiering in both Comanche and English, the first film to do so. It's a captivating journey that seamlessly blends raw human courage with the awe-inspiring mysteries of an alien entity. So, does Naru possess the mettle to face the Predator? That's a tale only "Prey" can tell.
