In the vibrant heart of Bombay city, a grand celebration is on the horizon. The Government of India has chosen to honor Divakar Barve for his profound contributions to Indian Arts and Cinema with a prestigious literary award. In the spirit of this recognition, a special party is arranged, a gathering steeped in glitz and glamour, punctuated by the presence of the city's cultural luminaries. Among the esteemed guests are Divakar's aging, alcohol-addicted wife, Mohini; Ravi, a seasoned actor; Bharat, a hopeful actor and poet; Ruth, an older woman seldom seen without her younger boyfriend; Agashe, a poet and producer; Ila Arun, the gifted singer; and Achyut Potdar, a famed Bollywood actor. The anticipation of the night is heightened by the expected arrival of Amrit, a firebrand activist. Yet, unbeknownst to the guests, the party is poised for a series of unexpected twists.
