Plot
A monkey from Africa spreads a new and potentially devastating plague to the California coast. As scientists from the CDC try to contain the outbreak and search for a cure, a small town finds itself as the epicenter of the new virological disaster. At the heart of the containment effort is Colonel Sam Daniels and his recently divorced wife. Their medical knowledge could be critical to containing the virus, but there's a secret at the heart of the outbreak. Daniels comes to question his military superiors and consider whether or not the virus he's trying to stop was created to be a weapon of mass destruction.
