Otaku no Video (1991)

A look at Japanese fandom. This movie intertwines interviews with "otaku" with an anime story about one guy's introduction into fandom and his later whirlwind career capitalizing on it. It also has bizarre little dates of random events thrown in that make no sense whatsoever. The otaku inerviewed have thier faces obscured and their voices altered.
