In One Thing at a Time, Julien, a modestly successful lawyer, finds himself facing off against the labyrinthine justice system when his childhood comrade, Jacques, a prosperous property magnate, is accused of a heinous crime. This crime: the murder of his wife, a captivating woman who was an object of affection for both men but ultimately chose Jacques as her life partner.
