A real life story of two men who revealed the truth behind big tobacco's corporate practices also had to come to the sobering realization of exactly how much power these massive corporations possess over policy. Jeffrey Wigand is a former executive for big tobacco who's coerced by a relentless 60 Minutes producer into an on-air interview. What he reveals is that the tobacco industry was not just aware of the addictive and carcinogenic properties of tobacco, but that they were also actively trying to hide them. But the muscle of tobacco companies threaten the chance for the story to even air.
