Erin Brockovich (2000)

This film is based on a true story and features Erin Brockovich. Brokovich loses a legal case and begins to work for her attorney. While there, she discovers that PG&E gas has contaminated the groundwater of Hinkley, California, with a chemical called Chromium. That chemical has caused a massive upswing in cancer and other related diseases in the area, causing many residents to get very sick. Brockovich goes on a one-woman legal crusade, seeking to defend the residents of Hinkley and bring PG&E gas to justice, attempting to force them to stop contaminating the groundwater and compensate its victims.
