Plot

In the idyllic tranquility of Gyunggi-do suburbs, a family finds a new start, oblivious to the storm of suspicion and fear that will soon engulf their world. When the innocent Mi-rim inexplicably vanishes, the serene façade of the village crumbles, exposing an undercurrent of chaos. Amid the frantic search for his daughter, Mi-rim's father uncovers a disturbing piece of the puzzle. One of the newcomers, Sejin, bears the indelible mark of a criminal past. As the villagers rally around Mi-rim's father, the family is subjected to a torrent of threats and intimidation. Through the veil of fear and mistrust, the film navigates the murky waters of a thriller, while also shedding light on the crippling weight of bias and societal oppression. Stripped of his individuality by his criminal history, Sejin finds himself in the crosshairs of a judgmental society. Meanwhile, his sister teeters on the edge of losing her cherished career as a kindergarten teacher. "No Doubt" delves deep into the unsettling question of what constitutes real violence. The film challenges the viewer to see beyond physical brutality, exploring the silent, insidious violence inflicted by a community upon an individual. The narrative unflinchingly reveals how this collective hostility can lead to the sacrifice of an individual, demonstrating the cruel mechanism of murdering individuality through group violence.
