Edge of Tomorrow (2014)

Tom Cruise stars in this sci-fi “GroundHog Day” as Major Bill Cage, an officer with no combat experience who is demoted and sent into battle without warning. Killed almost immediately, Cage, nevertheless, wakes up back at the start of the same day. Turns out, when he tangled with an alien life form he was sent into a time loop.
